Anita Sanford

Training Coordinator

I came to LARA in the fall of 2012 with an interest in volunteering in reading, but I was hired instead as a teacher. In my time here, I have taught GED classes, HSE classes, ELL Classes, and now I teach classes on how to successfully complete training courses and find employment. I have a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Education from Eastern Oregon University with an endorsement in reading and ELL. I moved here from Oregon to be closer to family and found a wonderful and engaging community in the Greater Lafayette area. I love to read, garden, hike, and explore historical places. Anytime you want you want to chat about ideas and places you dream of exploring, my door is always open.
